아이 학교보내고 와서 작업해서 올립니다.

7시쯤에는 올리려고 하는데... 요즘 진행중인 작업이 많아서... 

체력이 좀 안됩니다 ㅠㅠ...

30대 때만해도 하루밤새는거는 거뜬히 했는데... 40 넘어가니 진짜 체력이 딸리는게 느껴지네요....

한국의 계절들에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
한국은 사계절이 뚜렷한 나라다. 봄과 가을에는 날씨가 매우 좋다. 기온이 야외 활동을 하기에 딱 적당하다. 반면, 여름은 매우 무덥다. 낮 기온이 섭씨 30도를 상회하기도 한다. 여름에는 장마철이 있는데, 이 기간에는 비가 많이 쏟아진다. 날씨가 아주 습하고 끈적거린다. 정반대로 겨울은 매섭게 춥고 눈도 많이 온다.

▍Talk about Korea's seasons.
Korea has four distinct seasons. The weather is very nice in spring and fall. The temperatures are just right for outdoor activities. On the other hand, summer is sweltering hot. Daytime highs can be higher than 30 degrees Celsius. We have a rainy season in summer, and it pours. Also, it is very humid and sticky. Winter is the complete opposite. It is freezing cold and we get a lot of snow.

We have a rainy season in summer, and it pours.
It doesn't rain often here, but when it does, it pours.
We were only expecting a drizzle, but it poured.

3. humid and sticky 습하고 끈적거리는
It is very humid and sticky.
I don't mind the heat, but I hate it when it humid and sticky.
It's humid and sticky outside, but inside it's cool.

기후 변화 현상에 대해 이야기해 주세요.
한국의 가장 두드러진 날씨 변화 중에 하나는 여름이 매년 점점 더 더워지고 있다는 것이다. 작년 여름이 유독 심해서 고생했던 기억이 난다. 밤에도 기온이 내려가지 않아서, 열대야 현상이 나타났다. 한국에서 가상 관측 이래로 가장 더운 여름으로 기록되었다. 한국이 아열대 기후로 점차 변할 것이라는 관측도 있다. 이러한 기후 변화의 가장 큰 원인으로 자구 온난화가 지목되고 있다.

▍Talk about some changes in weather patterns.
One of the most pronounced changes in Korea's weather is that summers are getting hotter by the year. I remember having a hard time last summer because it was especially bad. Even after dark, it didn't cool off and we had tropical nights. It was the hottest summer in the books for Korea. Some predict that Korea will develop a subtropical climate. Global warming is pegged as the biggest reason for this climate change.

3. peg something as ～을 ...으로 지목하다
Global warming is pegged as the biggest reason for this change.
People pegged him as a trouble maker before even meeting him.
China is pegged as a major source of fine dust.

A: 벌써 이렇게 덥다니 믿을 수 없어. 아직 6월도 안 됐는데 말이야!
B: 그러게 말이야. 에어컨 고쳐 놔야겠어. 작년 여름에 고장 났거든,
A: 그거 좋은 생각이네. 난 에어컨 빵빵한 카페에 가서 좀 쉴래.
B: 그래, 더위 잘 이겨 내. 다음 주에 학교에서 보자.
