첫 해외여행 경험에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

어렸을 때 태국으로 여행을 갔던 기억이 난다. 처음 가는 해외여행이어서 매우 흥분되었다. 비행기를 처음 탔을 때의 기억이 아직도 난다. 정말 신이 났다. 현지에 도착해서 가장 먼저 호텔에 가서 체크인을 했다. 그러고 나서 객실로 가서 짐을 풀었다. 그런 후에, 관광 투어를 갔다. 투어 중에 본 것들이 신기했다. 또한 현지 요리들이 매우 이색적으로 느껴졌던 기억이 난다.

 

❝Talk about the first overseas trip you went on.

I remember going on a trip to Thailand when I was a kid. It was my first trip overseas, so I was very excited. I still remember when I first boarded the plane. It gave me a thrill. When we arrived, we first went to the hotel to check in. Then, we went to our room and unpacked our things. After that, we went on a sightseeing tour. I was amazed by the things that I saw during the tour. Plus, I remember how the local cuisine felt very exotic.

한국 사람들이 휴가로 가장 많이 방문하는 나라에 대해 이야기해 주세요.

일본은 한국 사람들이 가장 많이 방문하는 국가 중에 하나다. 많은 사람들이 일본을 휴가나 출장 목적으로 방문한다. 일본은 우리나라의 최인접 국가 중에 하나로, 일본에 있는 대부분의 주요 도시까지 비행기로 한 시간이면 도착이 가능하다. 일본에는 산이 많아서 전국에 스키장이 많다. 온천을 끼고 있는 휴양 시설들도 많다. 또한 일본은 섬나라여서 해변도 무척 많다. 일부 해변은 인기 휴가지고 해안선이 매우 아름답다.

Japan is one of the countries Koreans visit most. Many people go there on vacation or for business trips. Japan is one of our closest neighboring countries. It is only a one-hour flight to most major Japanese cities. There are many mountains in Japan, so there are a lot of ski resorts all across the country. There are also many resorts that have hot springs. Plus, Japan is an island nation, so there are tons of beaches. Some beaches are popular vacation spots and the coastline is very scenic.
